Jacob Diamond - c. 1923
At a meeting of the executive in 1908, it was moved that the Congregation be called House of Jacob. In response Mr.
Diamond said that, since his own name was Jacob, he would immediately donate five dollars and would continue to support the
Congregation as best he could. He served seven terms as President before his death in 1929.
