Mendle Switzer, Cattle Dealer c. 1940
Several Jewish men worked as cattle dealers; they were not ranchers, but some operated feedlots where they "fatten-up"
cattle for resale. Mendle's registered brand is shown at bottom right. Other Calgary dealers included Henry Belkin, Jack
Bleviss, Morris Cohen, the Dvorkin brothers, Sam Feldman, Abe Gedeger, Mire and Sam Katchen, Ben Kerr, Izzy Kline, Jack Leavitt,
Morris Manolson, Sam Mozeson, Harry Sheftel and Bob Smolkin.
