Joe Joffe bought the Boyd and Cuncannon store in 1917 and ran it as a general store for three years. Like many of the woodframe country stores,it burned down several times.

Raised in Munson and Calgary,Gerald Fasman went on to become a renowned professor at Brandeis University and was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in Washington,D.C.

Ben and Mary were merchants in various small Saskatchewan towns before moving to Veteran,Alberta in the early 1930's. He came to Calgary to join the armed services in 1941 and eventually became "gabba"of the House of Israel.
