Bercov, Malkin and Joffe Family Members in Surazh, Russia - c. 1910
The surnames of all three of these related families are part of pioneer Jewish history in Southern Alberta. Some were
already here
some years before this c. 1910 photo was taken. Others, seen in this picture, would follow. Asterisks are placed after
their names.
In the centre of the middle-row is Grandmother Bercov.
At her left are Chaya Dvora (Bercov) Joffe and Maryasha Fradkin.
