Harry came to Calgary in 1928 after working
as a farm hand in Rumsey. In 1930 he
married Rachel Rosenthal.

Nate and Sophie Friedman 1942
Nate Friedman operated the American Meat
Market for over thirty years in Calgary. His
brother Morris ran a kosher butcher shop at
approximately the same time.
