Moishe Sheftel, father of Kune, Sheva (Baren), Harry, Ben, Molly (Baber) and Leo, arrived in Calgary in 1926 from the Ukraine. The eldest son, Kune remained in Russia.

Chasia was the wife of Moishe Sheftel and a sister of Rachel (Pearlmutter) Kline. She arrived in Calgary with her husband and children in 1926.

Bessie (Gopman) Gurevitch
Calgary - 1937
Bessie's husband Samuel Gopman came to Calgary from Russia c. 1914, but died in the great influenza epidemic. Bessie and her three sons Norman, Morris and John, and her daughter Goldie, came to her uncle Kalman Corn in 1921.
