Goldie Morgentaler will speak on the life and works of the great Yiddish-language novelist, her mother, Chava Rosenfarb, focusing on Rosenfarb’s short stories about Canadian Holocaust survivors, as well as letters she wrote to her best friend in Sweden. Free event, followed by a kosher reception.
