Jack Klinger, Lethbridge - c.1926
After literally walking alone across Europe, from Romania to Danzig en route to Canada, Jack found himself penniless and stranded in Winnipeg. He had been misdirected in his efforts to join his uncle in Medicine Hat. With the help of sympathetic Winnipegers, he was united with his relative and soon moved on to become a prosperous merchant in Lethbridge.
