Marcia Calmenson Goldberg c. 1912
In 1912 this educated young woman arrived
from St. Paul, Minnesota, as a bride to join
her husband Henry in Edmonton. When the
family moved to Calgary, Marcia Goldberg's
name became synonymous with many
Jewish women's organizations in the city.
Not only did she serve as local President of
the National Council of Jewish Women, but
became a pillar of Hadassah, attaining the
Dominion Vice Presidency in 1930.
