JHSSA accepts donations of archival material that are relevant to the history and development of the Jewish communities of southern Alberta. This includes the personal records of Jewish individuals and families who live – or have lived – south of Red Deer, as well as any Jewish organizations and businesses in the area.
These records include correspondence, photographs, diaries and journals; meeting minutes, membership lists, policy manuals, program publicity; legal agreements, product samples, brochures and flyers.
If you would like to donate personal papers, organizational records, scrapbooks, photographs, or other material that reflects the history of the Jewish communities of southern Alberta, whether a single item or a box full, contact us at 403-444-3171, or at jhssa@shaw.ca.
Our factsheet for organizations, regarding the accumulation and storage of their own archival material, can be found here.
