Please join the JHSSA for a summer talk by Harriet Goodman Hoffman. The presentation will draw on Harriet’s experience editing Collected Writings by her grandfather Joseph J. Goodman who lived in Alberta for a while in the early 20th century. The book translates J. Goodman’s Yiddish poetry, essays and stories, presenting them with a chronology and a biography based on Harriet’s genealogical research, along with information about people and places in his text.
The event will be free of charge, but we do ask that people RSVP if possible, so we can ensure there are sufficient refreshments after the talk.
