In his illustrated presentation, Izak Paul will recount how a vacation trip to Prague and Vienna developed into an emotional journey, a “journey of discovery” about the fate of his paternal grandparents and great-grandparents who were murdered in the Holocaust. He has documented each stage of his research.
Izak Paul is a recently retired professor of biology at Mount Royal University; he is one of the founders of MRU’s annual Holocaust Education Symposium.
This program will be relevant to anyone interested in history, genealogy, and intriguing stories.
