Our next program will be on May 6, which can feel like a long time away from mid January. There are a few opportunities to get a Jewish history boost in the interim that may be of interest:
Harry Sanders is giving a talk on March 6 at 1:00 pm for the Building Calgary Communities lecture series presented by Chinook Country Historical Society and Calgary Life Long Learners. More information can be found on their website.
On March 22 at 1:00 pm, if you are looking for a trip further afield, you can catch Sandra Morton Weizman giving a presentation on the history of the Jewish community in Alberta at the Red Deer Museum, as part of their programming surrounding a visiting Anne Frank exhibit.
